It has a light oily texture that quickly dissolves, refreshing the taste buds and stirring emotions. The 2023 Vintage has a delicate freshness like a chilled bird’s nest, coupled with the crisp aromas of acacia and the clarity of Kunlun mountain spring water. Fleur de sel encrusted lemon, lemon zest, a twist of lime and white grapefruit. Mimosa, just a little; flint. Fluid, lithe and energetic with a glorious zesty freshness that disrupts the tranquil cool of the glacial mid-palate bringing energy, interest and great sapidity. Superb. Beautifully composed and lovely texturally. The harvest took place August 18 - August 31.The wine blends 60% Sauvignon Blanc, with 40% Semillon. 13% ABV. Lemon peel, chalk, white pepper, sage, mint and crushed rocks lend brightness and energy. I like the vibrancy here, but I just wish there was a bit more mid-palate creaminess. At this stage, the Blanc is a bit austere.
